DRESS-FOR-LESS 2016. (Season 4.)

We often get questions about how Dress-For-Less came by, how it works, do we make profit? , why do we sell at such unbelievable prices, is it really possible?… Yes it looks impossible,  and in this present situation of the country, it looks like a “scheme”. But Dress-For-Less is as Real as Real is.

What Birthed Dress-For-Less?

Lets do a little background on DFL. Few years ago, We had a vision and mission to empower one very special student in the College (then DGV FASHION ACADEMY). The passion was great and so was the need to achieve the vision. We thought of ways to raise the cash and came up with the community service initiative. We arrived at making new clothes and sell at no-profit rates, all to raise the needed funds. It was very successful,  and we realised many people were even happier. We achieved more than our goal, we put smiles on many faces. They could spend less on looking good for Christmas. The satisfaction and joy was a big plus to our vision.

And the feedback was, ‘don’t let this stop’….. so it became an annual cause and a part of it still goes back to spreading smiles in the spirit of Christmas. And since then, it’s been a good story year over year.

The 2016 edition is the 4th one. And it comes with a twist. It’s about one time the country is facing a direction many of us don’t understand. This is more reason we are determined to spread more smiles, more joy, more love and happiness and ease the tight air around us.

The prices are coming as low as #500 -#2000. Is it easy on our part? NO! Is it worth it? YES!!!!!!! If there is a time DFL is needed, we think it’s now. You can now spread the remaining budget on other Christmas expenses. If you want to give affordable gifts to people, DFL is the place to be. It’s the season to give, we are giving back and we hope many will too.

If you’re coming to shop at DFL, we plead that you come early. People arrive before shopping doors open, it’s like our version of ‘Black Friday’. The exchange rate is not speaking sweet language in this season, but our sales is speaking more than sweetness to all ears.

This edition is coming with lots of freebies from chocolates from The Choc Boy – that choc genius, to cupcakes from the talented Creamy Tops, and hand dryers , clippers and more for heavy shoppers. All from good hearts who want to spread joy of the season around too. Don’t arrive late, all gifts are on first come, early shoppers basis.

And Yes nothing sells above #2000, it’s a sacrificial promise and we are keeping it. Don’t just get for yourself , look around and make someone happy this season. All acts are seeds. Sow Joy reap more Joy.
